The UH-72 Lakota is a new helicopter being adopted by the U.S. Army to replace their aging UH-1H Iroquois ("Huey") and OH-58A/C Kiowa helicopters. The UH-72 is designed for service as a light utility helicopter with a crew of two and the capacity to lift about 2 tons, 8 personnel, or 2 stretchers and a medical crew. |
