Overview Deep within Death Valley Wilderness Area, Sidewinder Canyon is a moderately strenuous hike up a steep gravel wash to several amazing narrow slot canyons that cut into the walls of the main canyon. Presented here are photos of Slot Plus Two (Slot #2). Slot #2 is the fifth of the side canyons encountered while hiking up the main wash, and this slot is the second of the interesting slot canyons. The entrance to Slot #2 is located in an alcove on the side of the main wash. This slot is deep, narrow, and fairly dark, so be sure to bring a flashlight.
